Kennels
Willow Creek Kennels is an indoor/outdoor facility, which means we rotate all dogs inside and out 3-4 times daily. During the summer the inside is fully air-conditioned and in the winter is heated. The indoor portions of the runs are 4'-by 6' and the outdoor runs are 4'-by 13'. All runs are covered on the outside for the maximum protection for your dog. Most dogs get plenty of exercise in their runs but we do offer additional outside time (see services.)
Same family dogs are welcome to board together but keep in mind that problems you sometimes don't see at home can happen when kenneled. Therefore, if it's your first time to board your dogs and you don't know if they will get along, alert the staff and we will keep a close eye on them. You can receive a discount for same family sharing a run during non-peak hours.
Cats receive the same amount of care but we do not have an outdoor facility for cats. Therefore they have a 4' x 6' run of space for them to relax in while kenneling. Most cats are nocturnal and prefer when boarding to spend their roaming time at night so we like to leave their carriers in with them so they have some place to relax in during the day. For those extra-loving cats make sure to ask for our Sit 'n Spoil service.
Shot records
All pets must be healthy and current on all shots before staying at Willow Creek Kennels.

Cats

FVRCPP (parvo distemper complex) Feline Leukemia
Feel free to ask the vets to fax the records to us (806) 381-8649 or you may bring a copy when you drop your pet off. Proof of shots includes records from the vets. The manager must check any other records.
Toys & Bedding
Most pets find the kennels enough excitement all on their own. If you feel you need to bring extras for your dog limit it to one or two toys and not their favorites. Sometimes things get misplaced or shared and we hate to loose those that are special to you.
Willow Creek Kennels has a variety of bedding for all dogs boarding with us. So if it's the burrowing dachshund that needs two or three beds or an elderly pet who needs some geriatrics and a PetCot we will be happy to accommodate you. If your pet is extra spoiled we would be more than happy to personally tuck them in each evening. Be sure to see our services page. WE DON'T TAKE ANY OUTSIDE BEDDING.
Treats
You are welcome to bring treats from home but we do offer treats as rewards for all boarding pets periodically throughout the day.

At Willow Creek Kennels we strive to keep your pet on the same schedule you do at home. Therefore we feed two times daily and offer a variety of high quality IAMS foods including IAMS mini chunks, puppy, senior, and cat food formulas. We will accept your food but please help. Make sure your food is in ziploc baggies or a closed container and only enough food for the pet's stay. We charge the same if we use your food or ours but if you would help us out by bagging your food we sure appreciate it.
Medications
We distribute medications just as you would at home. We medicate using cheese, peanut butter, or hot dogs so you don't need to bring anything from home. We do charge $1.00 per day for medications so please keep that in mind. Any shots needing to be given like insulin will be charged an additional $1.00 per day and we ask that the owners draw up shots before bringing them to the kennels.
